The project aims to reduce the incidence of flooding in Jalan Tun Razak, Jalan Gurney, Jalan Semarak and Kg. Bharu, Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas. Flooding in these locations has caused congestion on major roads and disruption of life for local residents.
